Carnivores- German Flower 7”. At times, Carnivores are nostalgic, reminiscent of garage bands of the 60s, but at other times, the grimy melodic oddballs bounce quickly to distortion, delving deep into a psychedelic coma laced with vibrant tones, sweet screeches, and shifty time signatures. I was gonna say dark, psychedelic, surfy, jangly, garage rock from Atlanta, but that seems like too many adjectives. Regardless, this record is good!
